Days Off

Employees should have at least two full days off each week, and if possible, one of those days should be Sunday.

If the employer requires or allows employees to work more than the normal hours of work, they can work up to:

  • 28 continuous days without a day of rest, and

  • up to 7 more days if necessary to complete a project.

If an employee has to work this schedule, they are entitled to at least one day off for every seven days worked and can take their accrued days of rest all at once.
