Protection of quiet enjoyment

• A tenant has the right to live in their rental unit without being unreasonably disturbed by the landlord or others.

• The tenant has the right to privacy and exclusive possession of the unit, except for when the landlord needs to enter due to an emergency or at an agreed-upon time with notice.

• The tenant has the right to use common areas for reasonable and lawful purposes without significant interference

Right of Access

A landlord cannot restrict access to the residential property for the tenant or anyone permitted by the tenant. The landlord must allow unrestricted access to the residential property
