Protection of quiet enjoyment
A tenant has the right to live in their rental unit without being unreasonably disturbed by the landlord or others.
The tenant has the right to privacy and exclusive possession of the unit, except for when the landlord needs to enter due to an emergency or at an agreed-upon time with notice.
The tenant has the right to use common areas for reasonable and lawful purposes without significant interference
Right of Access
A landlord cannot restrict access to the residential property for the tenant or anyone permitted by the tenant. The landlord must allow unrestricted access to the residential property
