Landlord Right of Entry
A landlord cannot enter a rental unit without the tenant's permission, except in certain situations. These situations include:
if the tenant has given permission,
if the landlord has given written notice at least 24 hours in advance for a reasonable purpose,
if there is an emergency, or if the tenant appears to have abandoned the unit.
If the landlord wants to show the unit to prospective tenants or buyers,
they must give notice and only enter during certain hours.
They must also obtain the tenant's consent or give notice in advance.
The landlord cannot enter on a Sunday or a day of religious worship for the tenant.
