Right to quiet enjoyment
A tenant is entitled to quiet enjoyment of the rental unit including, but not limited to the right:
reasonable privacy;
freedom from unreasonable disturbance;
exclusive possession of the unit, only subject landlord’s right to enter the rental unit
use of common areas for reasonable and lawful purposes.
Right of access protected
A landlord cannot unfairly limit a tenant's or their guests' access to the rental unit or common areas of the property. The tenant has the right to use and enjoy these spaces without unreasonable interference from the landlord.
