Domestic Violence Leave
If an employee has worked for an employer for at least 3 months, they may ask for:
up to three days of paid leave and
up to seven days of unpaid leave per year
for domestic violence, intimate partner violence, or sexual violence reasons. The employee can take these days off all at once or spread them out.
The employee must inform their employer when they plan to take the leave and how long they think they will be gone.
