Court-Ordered Validity
If the Superior Court of Justice believes that a document or writing expresses the wishes of a deceased person regarding their will, but that document was not created according to the rules outlined in this law, the court may still recognize that document as if it were a valid will or a revocation, alteration, or revival of a will.
In other words, the court can treat the document as if it were properly created, and enforce the wishes expressed in the document. This can happen if someone makes an application to the court to request this recognition.
