Who can make a Will
An individual who is 18 years old or older shall make a will.
If someone is under 18 years old, they cannot make a valid will unless:
they are married,
planning to get married and the will specifically says it was made in anticipation of the marriage to a named person and is not effective until marriage takes place,
they are a member of the Canadian Forces, or
they are a sailor and at sea.
