Will Requirements
A will must be:
in writing,
signed by the testator (the person making the will) or someone signing on their behalf, and witnessed by two or more people who are present at the same time.
at least two of the witnesses must attest and subscribe to the will in the presence of the testator.
This means that the testator and witnesses must all be together in the same room at the time the will is signed and witnessed, and the witnesses must sign the will themselves to confirm that they saw the testator sign it.
Holographic Will
A holograph will, wholly in the handwriting of the testator and signed by the testator, may be validly made, without any requirement as to the presence of ir attestation by any witness
