The period of the annual vacation is equal to:

• 2 weeks after each of the first 5 years of employment with the same employer; and

• 3 weeks after the 6th years of employment with the same employer

Vacation pay must be equal to at least:

• 4% of annual wages of the employee for each of the first 5 years

• 6% of the annual wages of the employee for the 6th and subsequent years of employment

vacation pay must be paid at least one day before the beginning of the vacation

If an employee ceases employment for any reason before the completion of his or her year of employment, the employer shall, without delay pay to the employee by the employer in respect of

• any prior years of employment completed

• the completed portion of the current year of employment
