Days of Rest
Every employee should have at least 24 consecutive hours off work during each week of employment.
If possible, this period of rest should be on a Sunday.
However, this rule doesn't apply to certain types of employees, such as those who work in specific undertakings or emergencies that require immediate action.
Employers can also apply to the minister for an exemption from this rule, and the minister can approve or revoke it.
