Employers must pay all employees at least minimum wage for every hour worked.

The current minimum wage in New Brunswick is $14.75 as of April 1, 2023.

There are industries where there is a special minimum wage rate, where the rates are for:

• certain categories of employees in government construction work; and

• counsellors and program staff at residential summer camps
