Tenants have obligations when they are occupying a rental unit. These include:

Paying Rent

A tenant shall pay rent and tenant services charge on the dates specified in the tenancy agreement,

Maintaining standards

A tenant shall maintain ordinary health, cleanliness and sanitation standards in the rental unit and the residential complex,

Redecoration of unit

A tenant shall not alter or redecorate the rental unit or residential complex without the prior consent of the landlord, taking reasonable care not to damage the rental unit or residential complex,

Disturbing tenants

A tenant shall not Not unreasonably disturb other tenants or occupants of the residential complex.

Unlawful activity

A tenant shall not engage in unlawful activities that cause damage to the rental unit or residential complex,

Interference with others

A tenant shall not interfere with the enjoyment of other tenants or occupants.

Safety

A tenant shall not adversely affect the security, safety, health or well-being of other tenants or occupants.
