An employee who has been employed for at least 30 days can take up to three days of unpaid leave each year if they need to take care of their own health or their family responsibilities.

The employee must give their employer reasonable notice, and the employer may ask for verification.

If the employee takes any part of a day off, it counts as a full day of leave.
