Payment of rent

A tenant is responsible to pay the agreed-upon rent to the landlord on the day that is provided in the rental agreement.

Repair and maintenance

Tenants are responsible for repairing damage caused by anyone living in or visiting the unit and surrounding common areas.

• responsible for maintaining a reasonable standard of health and cleanliness in the unit

• at the end of the tenancy, the tenant is responsible for paying any cleaning costs when the condition does not comply with the housing standards

Tenants must pay rent when it is due under the tenancy agreement

The tenant is not responsible for:

• reasonable wear and tear on the unit
