Disposition of Property

Disposition of Property

An individual can dispose of all their property through their will, including property acquired before or after the will is made.

If the testator disposes of an interest in the property after making the will, the beneficiary still inherits any remaining interest unless the will states otherwise.

The will's general disposition includes any property that the testator has the power to appoint in any way they see fit.

Power of Appointment

A power of appointment can be created through a will and can be exercised through a will made in accordance with the law, even if the original instrument that granted the power requires a different form of will.
