Remedies for Landlord
If a tenant commits a breach of a residential tenancy agreement, the landlord may apply to a court for one or more of the following remedies:
where the breach consists of a non-payment of rent, recovery of arrears of rent;
where the breach consists of failing to give up possession of the residential premises,
recovery of possession from the overholding tenant, and
recovery of compensation for the use and occupation of the premises by the overholding tenant
where the breach is substantial, termination of the tenancy;
recovery of damages resulting from the breach
