Vacation Pay
If an employee is paid monthly, their vacation pay must be at least equal to their wages for a week of work divided by 4.33 for each week of vacation they take.
If an employee is not paid monthly, their vacation pay must be at least 4% or 6% of their wages for the year, depending on how many weeks of vacation they are entitled to.
An employer can establish a common anniversary date for vacation entitlements for all employees or a group of them.
If they do so, the amount of vacation pay and length of vacation cannot be reduced, and
employees become entitled to a minimum of 2 weeks of vacation on their first common anniversary date, with additional weeks added on subsequent anniversaries.
