If an employee has been working for the same employer for at least 90 days, they are entitled to unpaid bereavement leave if there is the death of a family member or the end of a pregnancy.

The amount of leave is limited to 3 days per calendar year.

The employee must give the employer notice before taking the leave, as much as is reasonable and practical.
